Find Out About Me!

So I’ve been blogging for around 3 months now and it’s becoming increasingly difficult when it comes to finding new content.

Finding new content to write about often requires going out and buying new makeup to review, which is extremely hard when I’m having to save at the same time. Each months my viewings are going down which is slightly deflating but I’m determined to try harder because this blog is something I’m extremely proud of having the confidence to do.

Because of this I’m thinking about introducing a few personal posts every now and then, let me know what you guys would be interested in seeing more of, I’m opening a Q&A page up for everyone to ask me some questions… feel free to tell me what you’d like to see/know about me☺️☺️

These will either be answered in a blog post or one of my very first YouTube videos! Yes, I’m restarting my YouTube channel, I’ve just ordered myself a pretty new camera so I’m real excited💃🏼

Kérastase Resistance Shampoo & Conditioner | Review

Hey guys, so those of you who have followed my blog from the first few posts will know that I’ve gone from having brown/grey hair to being a blonde again.

Everyone should know by now that bleaching your hair is a dangerous game especially if you’ve been box dying your hair for years (🙋🏼guilty).

I’ve tried many different shampoos/hair masks/hair hacks and nothing has ever seemed to actually make my hair that silky soft blonde I always wanted.

Until I found out about these thanks to the salon I’ve recently been getting my hair done at.

THIS STUFF BLOODY WORKS! I really put it to the test after the second set of highlights I had put in.

So I wanted to try it out, see how my hair would be without this product. I went back to using Tresemmé for around a week and I had to give up because my hair was snapping every minute of every day. The ends were all whispy and my hair just wasn’t soft, it felt brittle and I wanted to cry. As you can see below my hair when straight would just be fluffy all the time, which I hate!

After 1 WASH of using this again my hair isn’t snapping anymore and look how good the condition of it actually is now. When I straighten my hair it stays straight, silky and non fluffy!

I used to ignore the whole looking after your hair after dying it but now I see why you really do have to do this. Spend that little bit more money on a decent shampoo & conditioner ladies because honestly it’ll do you and your confidence wonders💁🏼

This stuff isn’t cheap but also not completely break the bank expensive seeing as it lasts a while. I get mine off Feel Unique for around £30 for the both of them, and my previous bottles lasted me 2.5/3 months!

For anyone with damaged hair due to bleaching/box dyes seriously consider this stuff or replace your hair wash for any other one with protein in because you will see a huge difference!

Please comment below if there’s anything you’d like me to review/talk about in any of my upcoming posts

Also I’m aiming to get to 1000 views by the end of the month, lets make this happen and I may do a giveaway🎉🎉

Painless hair removal in seconds!

So the other day when I was at the National Pet Show a lady at a stall pulled me over to show me this product and I have never been sold something so fast in my life.

I’ve always been sceptical of these fast hair removal products and this one really did sell itself…

This is what you get in a pack, 2 different sized holding pads and 4 replacement pads for each holding pad. I was told each one lasts 3 months which (if this is true) is unbelievable and this product will be the best £20 you’ll spend this year. It can be used on any body hair and even stubble, when I tried it on stubble it did hurt however.

All you have to do is stick a replacement pad onto the holding pad and rub across hair in a circular motion with slight pressure and speed. I used my boyfriends arm as an example for a before and after photo as my body hair is very light and isn’t easily photographed.

Honestly this took 10 seconds for this tiny patch which is nothing considering it bald and rediculously soft!

About the painless thing, one thing I do have to mention though is that if you have sensitive skin like I do try not to press too hard because I ended up with one of my arms burning for the remainder of the day. As you can see below my arm was a little red, but hairless nonetheless.

Apart from the slight friction burn this is one of the best hair removal products I’ve ever come across, usually they all claim to be painless and aren’t which is enough to resort me back to shaving. I have been swayed with this one.

http://www.sinapearl.com/ go get your own ladies you won’t be disappointed😊

OH ANOTHER THING…

Making the product a thousand times better for all us furry friend lovers, NO animal testing!

Hope you enjoyed this post, a little different from my others but I had to mention this because I bet there’s a million people out there like me who hate shaving.

Ciao,

(This is a review and my genuine opinions, I am not working in collaboration with the company just thought I’d throw that out there also)

I can assure you that will not happen when ordering from here!

Urban Decay | Afterdark Palette | Review

Hey guys, so I’m trying to think up some more review ideas but it’s rather difficult as I haven’t been able to purchase any new makeup for a while, (currently waiting for the next student loan to drop so I can treat myself again).

I thought for this post I’d do a small review on my current favourite eyeshadow palette, Urban Decay’s Afterdark! At £39.50 I can say it is rather expensive but it’s so worth it if you’re an everyday eyeshadow wearer like I am.

maxresdefault.jpg

This was definitely an impulse buy, I didn’t really research into it I just really enjoyed the colours and hey it’s Urban Decay so I knew it was going to be good quality. The colours in this palette are so bold and bright and I love that they all have a slight shimmer to them. You really can experiment with these as I manage to get bright popping eyes for when I’m feeling that bit extra but also really subtle everyday makeup out of this baby.

IN ORDER L-R: Paralyzed, Fringe, Lounge, Backfire, Druggie, Off Duty, Sinful, Supersonic, Scene & Alter
You get 10 colours in this palette ranging from light to darks. My favourites and most used have to be ‘scene’ and ‘supersonic’ these can be blended nicely together to create subtle ombre style eyes…

FullSizeRender
I was tired and had uni so this was rushed, but it’s a good example of how subtle the palette can be
I also am in love with the shade ‘fringe’ I’ve used this on a few recent looks you may have seen, especially if you follow me on Instagram, this is a bright green/turquoise colour and pairs amazingly with ‘sinful’. These are two of my favourites to achieve a bold cut crease. It also blends nicely with ‘creep’ from the original Naked palette for more of a smokey eyed look.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

It’s also used in my first ever youtube video, so if you’re interested in seeing how it turned out check it out here

This is the palette I use almost every day, if you’re like me and love bright in your face eyeshadow yet sometimes enjoy toning it down this is definitely something you need to add to your collection.

Just to add, it goes so well with the Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Moonchild Glow Kit, those of you who know of this will know it has different pigments in each highlight so it’s nice finding a glow that you can pair with your eyes!

I’d just like to take a moment to thank everyone for the support, your comments and likes mean everything to me because I’m still getting to grips with this whole blogging business!
